Let’s start with, what a wonderful family. We had a lot of fun taking photos of this family. For starters, everyone was relaxed and happy to be in front of the camera. Even the four legged family had no issue with us snapping away at them.

The weather was on our side for this session. It was cloudy and overcast however, the sun had fun playing peek a boo with us allowing us to have spots of good light. The photos came out lovely and were an absolute pleasure to edit. It’s not every day we have such a photogenic group grace us with their smiles.

There were two photos in particular that were edited for canvas printing. Connor’s was a challenge to prepare. The reigns were removed easily in post production but edges had to be repaired and I had to rebuild his hand using the only visible finger in the original photo. It’s not perfect but we all learn to hone our craft and I certainly hope Sian does elect to print the final picture.

Little Bella was a great sport when it was her time to shine. She gave us beautiful eye contact and was happy to be bossed around for the various poses we made her do. The pics in Christmas getup was expected to be harder to pull off but she has the spirit of Christmas flowing through her so her photos were a snap!

There is love here with this family. It radiates off each member and lifts your spirits when you interact with any of the Louws. We have every hope that we will get to see them all again soon because they are so much fun, natural and a beautiful family. Thank you for giving us the chance to record your memories.
