A Family Shoot Starring Two Humans, One Awesome Kid… and Two Dogs Who Definitely Thought They Were the Main Characters
There are family sessions… and then there are family sessions featuring a rescue Pug and a howling Boston Terrier who fully believe they’re celebrities. And honestly? I can’t argue with them. Recently we had the absolute joy of photographing a beautiful family — Mom, Dad, their sweet daughter, and their two rescue pups who arrived with some initial hesitation and maximum attitude.

Meet the Cast:
Dad – Calm, collected, and clearly the designated treat-dispenser.

Mom – The coordinator and unofficial dog-wrangler.

Daughter – The shining star with a beautiful shy smile (especially when dog kisses were involved).

Pug – A round, wiggly ball of enthusiasm who posed like he owned the house.

Boston Terrier – The athletic, alert sibling who took his role as “professional model” very seriously.

The Photoshoot… Aka Controlled Chaos (The Best Kind)
We started off strong: one family, five smiles, zero chaos.
…for approximately 2.5 seconds.

The pug quickly realized the camera lens might be edible, the Boston Terrier posed like he’d been waiting his whole life for this moment, and the daughter giggled through the whole thing — especially when both dogs tried to do their own thing at the same time.

There were dog snorts, human laughs, dramatic head tilts, and two very determined dogs who insisted on sneaking into every shot. (Honestly, I respect the hustle.)

The Magic Moments
Between the wiggly pups and the loving glances shared between Mom, Dad, and their little girl, we captured some of the sweetest, most genuine moments.
The kind of moments that remind you why family shoots with pets are always worth the chaos — because chaos is the memory.

Final Thoughts
To this wonderful family: thank you for bringing the energy, the laughter, and the most expressive pair of rescue dogs I’ve ever met. Your photos are full of love, connection, and just the right amount of dog-powered mischief.

If your dogs ever decide to start modelling professionally, please do let us know.
