Yesterday’s autumn family session at the park was the perfect way to close out our autumn season
There’s something incredibly special about photographing families during this time of year. The golden leaves, soft light, and cooler afternoons create such a beautiful atmosphere — and this session had all of that magic and more.
This lovely family of four spent the afternoon simply enjoying time together. From playful moments between the two sisters to quiet cuddles with mom and dad beneath the trees, every part of the session felt natural, relaxed, and full of connection.
The girls brought so much joy and energy to the shoot, running through the fallen leaves, sharing giggles, and showing off the sweetest sister bond. These are the moments we love capturing most — genuine emotion, real laughter, and the little in-between moments families will treasure for years to come.
One of the things we always encourage during our outdoor sessions is for families to slow down and simply be together. The best photographs often come from the unscripted moments: holding hands during a walk, fixing a little one’s hair, sharing a laugh, or wrapping up in a family cuddle as the sun begins to set. Yesterday’s session was filled with those memories.
As this was our final autumn session before we take a much-needed two week break, it felt like such a meaningful way to end the season. We are incredibly grateful to every family who trusted us to document their stories this autumn.
